Building Maintenance Technician

MetCap Living Management Inc. is currently seeking a Maintenace Technician/Caretaker for our buildings in Burnaby, BC

• Troubleshoot general common area repairs.
• Repair and replace general hardware.
• Handling all basic repairs and maintenance in residential apartments and common area
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and minor fixes like broken locks, faucet  replacements, light fixtures replacement, wall preparations for painting, etc.

Skills, knowledge, and abilities required include:

• Being highly observant.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Being smart and agile.
• Good time management.
• Knowledge of electrical works.
• Knowledge of plumbing works.
• Good knowledge of carpentry.
• Have a positive attitude to work.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Must have a clear criminal record. Must have own basic tools.

Salary: $42,000- $47,000
